Red Rock Canyon State Park features scenic desert cliffs, buttes and spectacular rock formations. The park is located where the southernmost tip of the Sierra Nevada converge with the El Paso Mountains.

Each tributary canyon is unique, with vivid colors. After wet winters, the park's floral displays are stunning. Wildlife includes roadrunners, hawks, lizards, mice and squirrels.

Red Rock Canyon is an approximately 27,000 acre unit within the Mojave Sector of the Inland Empire District of the California State Park System, located along State Highway 14 in Kern County, about 80 miles east of Bakersfield and 25 miles north of Mojave. Red Rock Canyon provides magnificent views of the pristine desert landscape, includes two natural preserves, and offers, among other recreation activities, camping, sightseeing, equestrian activities, hiking, and opportunities for reflection and solitude.

HISTORY OF ESSEX JUNCTION: "1957 marked the arrival of IBM. When IBM originally arrived in Essex Junction, it employed 400 people and occupied a 10,000 sq. ft. building. Today, IBM is Vermont's largest private employer with over 7,000 employees and 3.3 million sq. ft. of building space. Since the arrival of IBM, the population of Essex Junction has doubled to its current size of 8,700 residents."

Niepołomice is a town in southern Poland, situated in the Lesser Poland Voivodeship (since 1999), previously in Kraków Voivodeship (). It is situated on the Vistula River, 25 km east of Kraków on the verge of large woodlands (Puszcza Niepołomnicka - The Niepołomnice Forests). There is a 14th century gothic hunting castle nearby built by Casimir III, as well as a conversation center for wisents.

The Royal Castle in Niepołomice - 14th century gothic hunting castle built by Casimir III. The castle underwent general modifications by Zygmunt Stary and his sons. The present square form of the castle, the courtyard and the gallery inside it were then introduced while all wings of the building were raised by one storey.

The Battle of Grunwald or Battle of Tannenberg took place on July 15, 1410 between the Kingdom of Poland, the Grand Duchy of Lithuania and their allies on one side, and the Knights of the Teutonic Order on the other. It was the decisive battle of the Polish-Lithuanian-Teutonic War () and one of the greatest battles of medieval Europe.

The Monastic State of the Teutonic Knights was defeated in the battle and never recovered its former influence. The few eyewitness accounts of the battle are contradictory. It took place in the area of several smaller villages, and different names in various languages are attributed to it.

Andersen Air Force Base is a base of the United States Air Force on the island of Guam in the Pacific Ocean. The base, located on the north end of the island approximately 15 miles (24 km) from the capital, Agana, is home to the Pacific Air Forces, 36th Wing. In May 2005, the Thirteenth Air Force moved its headquarters from Andersen Air Force Base to Hickam Air Force Base, Hawaii.

Andersen Air Force Base traces its roots back to the early days of World War II when a forest area at the northern end of Guam was turned into what was then known as North Field. By June 1945, North Field aircraft had begun bombing missions over Japan.

The field was redesignated North Guam Air Force Base in 1947. Two years later, the base was renamed in honor of Brigadier General Roy Andersen. Andersen had been chief of staff at Harmon Field, Guam.
